The Coffee LoftIt’s more than a coffee shop, it’s a place to help change a community. The Coffee Loft is a locally owned business established to offer amazing food and service while also developing relationships and impacting a culture. You’ll enjoy coffee, sodas, smoothies, and a variety of pastries and deserts to help you get through your day. Not only that, but you’ll experience a laid back and unique atmosphere that’s perfect for connecting with friends, co-workers, fellow students, or those living in the neighborhood. We really are about changing a culture. Simply put, we serve coffee with a cause. We offer retail coffee for sale that is fair trade, an organized movement with social concern that helps coffee producers in developing countries. We are owned and operated by Woodland Community Church and all profits go towards our community and international outreach projects. One example is Charity Water, a non-profit organization that constructs wells to provide clean drinking water to people in poverty stricken areas around the world. The Coffee Loft also wants to impact students in the area by giving opportunities to connect with one another and to have a safe place to hang out, do homework using our hi-speed internet, or catch a football game on high definition television. To encourage students to check us out, all college students receive a discount on all of our products just by showing your student I.D. As a bonus, we’re giving a free T-Shirt to the first 500 college students who stop by. The Coffee Loft is also serious about promoting the arts. We’ll be having music artists play on The Loft Stage upstairs and provide other ways of expression through visual arts at our “After 10” open art studio nights. We call it “After 10” because they’ll take place after the closing of the coffee shop at 10:00 pm. The open studio will be one of many “After 10” events that will encourage the development of community between those who have similar interests. Our upper level is the ideal space for meetings, concerts and other events.
